And now I remember that there is still poetry. There is still such amazing beauty in this world even if he is president. Alana and Gracie still giggle uncontrollably, Brooklyn and Jayde grow chubbier by the minute and the leaves are still beautiful. Lovers are still in love, mothers hug their children, songs are still sung, flowers continue to blossom, rainbows form, smiles spread across faces, I write. Harrietta is still empty, New York is still full, colors remain vibrant. The sun will set and rise and tomorrow will come. This life is worth fighting for, this life is worth loving.
